Velcon Group successfully delivered the complete fit-out of Level 40 at Governor Phillip Tower, creating a sophisticated workplace environment tailored to the client's operational and workplace requirements.

The project involved the construction of a contemporary commercial office space incorporating executive offices, meeting rooms, collaboration zones, breakout areas, and open-plan workspaces. Extensive partitioning and glazing works were undertaken to maximise natural light penetration while maintaining privacy and acoustic performance throughout the tenancy.

A key feature of the fit-out was the integration of high-end finishes, including custom joinery, feature wall treatments, premium floor coverings, decorative lighting, architectural ceiling elements and curved glass walls to the large meeting room in the reception area.

The reception and client-facing areas were designed to create a strong first impression, reflecting the client's brand and corporate identity through carefully selected materials and finishes.

The services scope included the installation and commissioning of new mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, communications, and fire services systems to support the new layout and operational requirements. Energy-efficient LED lighting was incorporated throughout the tenancy, alongside intelligent lighting controls and upgraded power and data infrastructure.

Additional works included the construction of a modern staff kitchen and breakout facilities, feature meeting spaces, and integrated audiovisual technology to support flexible working and collaboration. Comprehensive painting and finishing works completed the transformation of the floor.

Operating within a premium-grade commercial tower in Sydney's CBD required meticulous planning, stakeholder coordination, and strict adherence to building management protocols. Through effective project management and quality control, Velcon Group delivered a high-quality fit-out that combined functionality, aesthetics, and workplace efficiency, providing a modern and engaging environment for staff and visitors alike.
