Project Description

Velcon Group was engaged by Scope Building Services to complete the electrical works for the Bannerman Road alterations and additions project in Ermington. The project involved a detailed residential upgrade, with new electrical services required for a new pool area, outdoor entertainment area, a security system, general power installation, and the main electrical supply to the property being upgraded to withstand the new requirements. Our role was to provide a complete electrical solution that supported the new layout, improved the usability of the home, and allowed the upgraded areas to operate safely and reliably.

The pool electrical works included the installation and coordination of electrical infrastructure required to service the new pool equipment and associated outdoor areas. This included cabling pathways, power supplies, equipment connections, and the supporting electrical provisions needed for a functional and compliant pool installation.

As part of the broader scope, Velcon Group installed CCTV cabling and provisions to improve security coverage around the property. General power was installed throughout the altered and added areas, with attention given to practical outlet locations, and neat integration with the finished building works. A consumer mains upgrade was also carried out to support the increased electrical load created by the renovation, pool services, and additional electrical load requirements.

The works were completed in coordination with the builder’s programme and staged to align with the progress of the renovation. Our team worked closely with other trades to manage cable routes, equipment locations, service access, and installation sequencing. All works were completed with a focus on safety, compliance, presentation, and long-term reliability. The completed electrical installation provided the client with a modern and practical electrical system that supports the upgraded residence, pool area, outdoor entertaining space and security requirements.
